Coaches, Referees, Players, Parents, and Administrators
Welcome to another soccer season in your Assabet Valley Youth Soccer League.
Coaches please call your opponent a few days before your game because of the new format regarding game times and field locations.
We have also posted all of the latest information on the season on our website - www.avysl.net.
Please review the rules. Every coach must have a coaches pledge on file with the Registrar prior to the start of the season.
We are here for the youth. As adults it is our obligation to set the example and tone of behavior which we expect the youth to follow.
Mid season adjustments will take place after the fourth game of the season. Please read Rule 19.0 which has been rewritten. Teams that are not competitive with rest of their division may be moved either up or down a division. We are here to have fun playing soccer!
Report scores on line (Rule 21) we are asking all coaches to report their game scores on line so as to expedite getting the data into the system which will also assist with teams which were not placed in the proper division.
We will be ending the Spring season with a tournament in Marlboro check the schedule for details.
The Assebet League is the only all recreational league in Mass. Youth Soccer and as such we offer communities an opportunity for those players who are not interested in competitive soccer a league to play the game and enjoy the sport without the pressure usually affiliated with competitive sports.
